Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. However think of if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this blog could definitely be one of the best in its niche. Wonderful blog!|

My friend is a mechanic, restores old cars at home, and uses HNR products sometimes. So I believe this works based on talking with him. The prep work is significant, requiring serious planning. One will want a spray gun because of all the contours and surfaces to be painted.

The container is oddly shaped and closes securely. I feel it should have a handle like an ordinary paint can since it weighs 5 pounds. It’s awkward to move it around.

Have had the hubby in the garage painting the inside of the garage door. I wanted to make sure this could be used for that application and several nice Amazon reviewers were able to answer that question for me before he got started. I didn’t want the outside painted, as from what I read, it can get chalky and scratch easily, and the outside is painted to match our house. So I didn’t want the outside to have to be repainted. With the side door opened, the door dried fairly fast. And it does make a difference in both temperature and noise. I would certainly recommend this to people who need to dampen noises in the vehicles and help keep their vehicle a bit cooler. Of course, when you have black car, black dash, black seats and black mats and live in Florida, I don’t know if that will change how the heat builds up in your car. I have been in cars that built up heat near the seats and legs and wish the owners of those vehicles had used this!

  11. Shannon Zolar

This is exactly what I expected. The container is easy to carry and I love the twist top so it is easy to reopen and continue with a project. You absolutely know when it is closed and sealed.

  12. John F. Wright

No instructions provided. Basically a thick high tech “paint”.

  13. Annie

If you are refurbishing a car or a boat you would want to use this product to cut down on heat and noise. My husband is redoing an older Mustang. He strip the interior down and sprayed it on the floor before installing the new carpet. This is a speciality product and not everyone would have a use for it. It sprays on easily.

  14. Avery

Works as advertised, seems to keep the noise and heat down. Make sure you stir it really well otherwise it will be too thin. Also it is water based so don’t apply to bare metal.

  15. Jayson Saxson

Went on really easy. Did like 5 coats on my Jeep floor and transmission tunnel. Seems to have helped. I bedlined Interior and I can touch the floor and not burn myself. I can’t speak as far as noise reduced. I wish I had done a decible test before and after

  16. Craig B.

Extremely easy to apply. Works just like they say it will. I have no heat radiating up from exhaust or from the floor boards anymore. Perfect for the off roaders that don’t want to use carpet or have carpet

  17. Cherie Doerr

seems to do the job, time will tell how it holds up

  18. Powerstroke

It comes in a different container. It changes color when dry. Used with with Stinger roadkill products. The installer used a HF $20 spray gun and it went on well. Can’t say how much it helped my 2000 f350 7.3 because I have multiple layers. I would buy 2 for a crewcab.

  19. JK

Painted the inside of truck cab. This actually makes a huge difference in the noise level of the cab. Real impressed.

  20. Richard

I put on a lot of light layers, and frankly it worked perfectly. Heat reduction is apparent, and even the wife notices a great improvement in noise from the 35’s. I feel that you need to put on multiple layers to have it work properly. There are very specific thickness guidelines.

  21. Janice Clark

Yes, it soundproofed my car and was a good value for the price.

  22. Gerald Nippert

Sprayed easy. I noticed reduction of heat and noise. I sprayed inside floor boards I had no a/c or carpet. Would have liked more of a reduction but I would do it again

  23. Zane Halfaker

Comes ready to spray. Just pop the seal on the gallon jug, stir it good and spray. Great price also. You will need to do multiple coats to get more thickness. I’m very happy with it so far. I hope its as durable as I’ve read it is. Less than half the price of lyzard skin. A+

I coated (one coat) the underside, floorboards, behind the seat and firewall of an old pickup cab (regular cab) and I’ve still got about a 4th of the gallon jug left.

  24. Bob

The product was as described. I am not sure how much noise it is reducing, but it appears to make a difference.

  25. Daniel Hernandez

Very awesome product. Easy to install.

  26. Juldon

This stuff is amazing,,,the description said it would block heat & noise by 45%..I really think it does all that and maybe more,,,the difference inside my Jeep is unbelievable..I would reccommend this product to anyone with a Jeep…

  27. Zane Metz

    good stuff,

  28. Jimmy H.

Did a cpl car floor tubs from firewalls to tail panels. Worked well especially for the price.

  29. Daniel

    Highly recommend for Jeep interiors.

  30. Matthew Belden

Went on good with my bed liner on my Jeep tub! Noticeable heat and noise reduction!

  31. Fit Couple

I used the cup brush to prepare the inside of my cab on a 1974 Chevy C10, then some self etching primer, then this HNR and top coated it with Al’s bed liner. It came out great!

  32. Ed. F

Old 69 VW bus was just oh so loud this is a great deal is worked very well. If this
an ok color for you I would say jump on this is a good deal. I jus twisted it was packaged a little or lot better the seal was more then broken ,and the box well let’s say it was I’m sound proof. 😉
